So lets cut to the chase, what do I collect? Well either Scale Model cars (diecast or resin) in scales from 1:64 to 1:18 and I love to do a fair bit of gaming in my downtime, so I have a modest sized video games collection too.
In my collection I do have a range of model types, diecast, resin & Composite, from manufacturers like AutoArt, Kyosho, Maisto, Bburago, Norev, Otto-Mobile, GT-Spirit, Ignition Models, One Model, Tarmac Works, Hotwheels and many more. I’m not someone who invests into the my models as a financial investment, I like to have them in a collection that I can sit back and take in the form of a particular model. I love real cars so its a natural thing to like the models in any size, especially when you’ve owned or own a particular car that you also have as a model.
So this time around I have a list of themes for the models that I would like in my collection the main 2 are JDM – Japanese Domestic Market and Cars that I’ve owned, there will be others but I’ll try to limit almost all my purchases to those 2 main themes. Hopefully you’ll enjoy looking at the models I have or have had in the past, I’ve tried to capture them all from different angles and been objective as I can when talking about them.
At this time I don’t have any plans for the Gaming side of things, undoubtedly the collection would make for a nice amount of content but I feel for now I would like to concentrate on the scale model car side of my collecting habits and play the games I have rather than talk about them!
