Normlly Solido have just been about the Euro car manufacturers, but over the last year (2021) they dropped 3 Nissan Skyline R34’s and 2 Nissan GT-Rs (R35). I snapped up one of each except the R34 in Bayside Blue as I already have one By AutoArt.
So Seen on Instagram that they are releasing some more non-Euro cars some more JDM greatness in two versions of the Toyota MK4 Supra’s, in White and Red. If you don’t know Solido 1:18 models are Diecast and normally feature opening doors. The other two cars are an Aston Martin DB5 and a 3 Door RS sierra.
Now it might seem like a bit of a fuss I’m making, but MK5 supra’s in plain road versions have been made in the past, Kyosho in the late 90’s, more recently by Otto and LS collectible, but they become very sought after and sell out very quickly. So as Solido mass produce models there should be no issue with collectors being able to get one especially at entry level prices of around £45.
